Project Brief

Fauzia, a lawyer from Guwahati, India, had a dream of an online jewelry business, something new from her traditional family business. Our goal was to combine a smooth user experience with the brand highlighted. We needed to focus on the story of the brand and their products.

Challenges Faced

The main challenge was to make the site load fast with thousands of high resolution images throughout the website. Also the site has to be safe and secure since it supposed to have a lot of transaction in it.
Beside that the target was to make everything clean and easy to navigate so that users can easily navigate throughout the products and categories.

Solutions Designed

Since this is a fully ecommerce site, we used Magento as the base platform. After multiple revisions a layout was confirmed and we started working on that. The theme got integrated, and after that, each minute details were taken care of while building the site.

After its built, we had to find a solution to upload the thousands of product and the images. We did some methods to upload bulk product through CSV and rest of that we had to use some manual process.

The final phase was to integrate the payment gateways and other 3rd party. We had to communicate with the payment merchants, the delivery processors etc in order to make the site complete.

Final Deliverables

At the end it was a nice crisp looking elegant site that helped Ms Fauzia to not only launch her business nationwide but also gave her significant boost to push the business to the way to growth and success.
